"China in January saw its largest industrial output in a decade, which is a positive movement for copper. Copper is caught in a holding pattern. There has been intraday volatility with both the U.S. Dollar and crude oil prices. This leaves a lot of room for copper mines production, and explains why the metal has been rangebound in a wide range," says Everett Millman.
