Daphne E. Jones' book "Win When They Say You Won't" is out now. Renita Young sits down with Daphne to discuss her book, as well as what led her to write it. Despite being told that black girls don't successfully make it in college, Daphne found success and held leadership positions at IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Hospira (now Pfizer), and General Electric. She defied expectations and rose to the top in the field of STEM, an industry dominated by white males. She utilized her background in software development to create what she calls E.D.I.T. Methodology. This is used to empower and help people, especially women, in growing their careers. She talks about how she was able to achieve her dream career and shares how others can too. Tune in to find out more.
