"There are concerns the pace of interest rate increase will rise due to a rebound in prices for used cars and energy, along with a handful of food items. The Federal Reserve does not focus on headline or core CPI that much, but the market is watching it very closely," says Kathy Jones. "Markets sold off this week on concerns central banks may have to raise rates more than expected. International stocks have outperformed this year and could be the new market leader," adds Michelle Gibley.
