The Dow Jones ended up, along with the S&P 500, the Nasdaq-100, and the Russell 2000. Seven out the eleven S&P 500 sectors ended in the green with tech energy, and real estate on top. Nvidia (NVDA) shares closed up 14% after posting better-than-expected 4th quarter earnings and first quarter guidance that beat expectations. The company also said that it's launching a new cloud-services business to tap into AI. eBay (EBAY) fell over 5% after the company warned that demand is expected to decline during the first half of 2023, as consumer cut back on spending. Domino's (DPZ) was the worst performer in the S&P 500 on Thursday as sales at existing stores grew by less than 1%.
