The Dow Jones ended down, along with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100, with the Russell 2000 closed higher. Five of the eleven S&P 500 sectors closed higher today with utilities and real estate leading the way. The lates quarterly results for United Airlines (UAL) showed a more narrow loss and operating revenue that increased. Netflix (NFLX) saw earnings above expectations, but revenue just below estimates. Tesla (TSLA) shares extended declines postmarket after reporting first quarter revenue below expectations. Tomorrow, look out for Jobless Claims, Philly Fed Manufacturing Index and Existing Home Sales.
