Visa (V) Earnings Indicate Resilient Consumer Spending

The Visa (V) earnings report indicated $1.93 in EPS and $7.8B in revenue, beating estimates. The V stock price today was up over 4%. "Visa had stronger than expected earnings results despite macro headwinds. Solid credit card metrics and airline metrics trends are pointing to resilient consumer spending," says Moshe Katri. "Visa all key growth factors rose by over 20%. These include consumer payments, new flows, and value-added services," adds David Holt.
