U.S. stock futures are relatively flat ahead of the Wall Street open as investors monitor earnings reports and await Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh’s latest comments.

The moves come after gains for the major indices on the back of positive earnings from Nvidia (NVDA), Salesforce (CRM) and CrowdStrike (CRWD). Despite yesterday’s gains, of the 11 S&P 500 sectors, only Information Technology was higher, with a rise of 3% that lifted the entire market.

Earnings are bifurcated this morning with Marvell (MRVL) and Workday (WDAY) lower post results, but Gap Inc (GAP) and Affirm (AFRM) are higher.

Investors are looking ahead to Warsh’s planned speech at the central bank’s annual symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Traders will be watching for any clarity on monetary policy, impact of Fed task forces, and signals about where Warsh believe interest rates could go next.
