U.S. Futures Higher as Tech Stocks Rebound

U.S. stock futures are mostly higher in premarket trading led by a tech rebound after the major indices had their worst day since April of 2025.
Thursday’s sell-off in artificial intelligence-related shares sent the Nasdaq-100 (NDX) into a correction territory and settled 15% off October’s record high. Concerns of a potential slowdown in data center construction following the Democratic wins in the House and Senate and key state governorships hit U.S. markets hard on Thursday.
Semiconductor stocks are leading the gains this morning with the VanEck Semi ETF (SMH) bouncing 5% in premarket trading. Investor focus will be on the tech sector stocks today along with the October nonfarm payrolls data. Economists expect 65,000 jobs added with the unemployment rate holding steady at 4.2%.
