Airlines in for a ‘Hard Spell’ in Possible Travel Recession

“I was a little surprised it wasn’t worse,” says Robby Silk of Delta Airlines (DAL) earnings. He thinks the airlines are in for “a bit of a hard spell,” but the premium carriers have “opportunity” simply because of their stronger balance sheets. He thinks DAL falls into this category, as opposed to Southwest (LUV), or JetBlue (JBLU).
