The language in the FOMC statement is important to note after the committee voted to raise interest rates by 25 bps. Art Hogan explains how the Fed pushed aside energy concerns in the wording as it seeks for a "timelier" return to 2% inflation. What's more important will be how Fed Chair Kevin Warsh addresses the hike during the press conference. Art points out the need for Warsh to smooth out "contradictions" made in his first couple of meetings. He adds that the Fed needs to maintain composure on rate and inflation guidance to prevent more panic in the bond market.
