Usually, stimulus “reduces volatility”, says Arnim Holzer, but it seems to be doing the opposite this time with the VIX still elevated. His concern is whether the Fed can ease rates by 150 basis points by next December, which he says the market is currently pricing in. He recommends a positive, growth-oriented portfolio, and favors utilities over tech.
