The Fed is increasingly at risk of making a policy error if they let long rates get out of control here, notes Cullen Roche. He discusses the takeaways from the Fed’s rate decision. Powell noted that the committee is not thinking about rate cuts and not talking about rate cuts. Roche highlights that policy hasn't been tight for very long, according to real rates policy, they only started to tighten substantially in April of this year.
