Consumer Sentiment's 'Pandemic-Level Pendulum Swing,' Expect 'Dirty' Spending Data

The University of Michigan released its latest consumer sentiment report, showing another decline. Eddie Yoon attributes it as a "pandemic-level pendulum swing" that will throw sentiment out of balance until 2027. He expects spending to increase near-term as people panic-buy ahead of tariffs implementation, followed by a spending trough.
