Cracks Showing in Corporate Credit as Bankruptcies Climb

Frank Ros looks at corporate credit conditions as cracks begin to show in their debt. He discusses the high number of bankruptcy filings in 2024, which he argues is because the “bottom 85%” of consumers can’t spend, among other reasons. He sees a brighter outlook around the housing market, though, because of the severe shortages.
