Energy Markets Steady Amid Geopolitical Tensions

Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and Eastern Europe have yet to significantly move oil markets, according to Tucker Perkins. While global demand for electricity, particularly from A.I. data centers, is surging, the U.S. power grid is currently unprepared for it. Perkins asserts that natural gas will be the primary energy source to meet this demand in the short term, with nuclear and other alternatives offering longer-term solutions.
