Fed ‘Asleep at the Wheel’ on Rate Cuts?

Jim Thorne argues the Fed is “asleep at the wheel” because tariffs aren’t inflationary, and they should have cut rates already. He thinks the Fed has become academic with a very narrow view of economics. Mark Giambrone agrees, saying the Fed has been “behind the curve consistently,” though he laments the politicization of rate cuts. He says we need to start seeing cuts before the end of the year.
