Fed Pause in January, 'Declining' Global Picture

Ben Ayers and Sam Burns break down the CPI report. Sam Burns says the “lack of any real surprise” is what let the markets react positively to the report. However, he thinks the big picture is “declining globally.” Ben Ayers says the biggest question for the Fed is their meeting in January directly after the Inauguration. He expects them to pause cuts then, switching to an “every other month” cutting schedule.
