Fitzpatrick: U.S. Growth Slower Despite Tariff Pause, Prices ‘Weight on Global Economy’

Bill Fitzpatrick says there’s an optimism around tariffs that “isn’t fair” yet. Companies passing on costs to consumers is a “weight on the global economy” that investors must prepare for, he argues. He doesn’t expect the U.S. economy to be able to grow above 2%, which he says is an issue. He also thinks the Fed doesn’t have much room to help, weighing on companies. He’s looking for quality in tech and infrastructure amid this backdrop.
