GasBuddy: $3 Per Gallon Gas Likely, Geopolitical Wild Card Remains

GasBuddy's Patrick De Haan expects to see gasoline prices steadily decline from now heading into the fall months. The average national gallon of gas can even slip below $3. That's all depends on geopolitical factors, especially around Russian oil tariffs and a shift in escalation on the Ukraine War, says Patrick. He later explains that crude oil's price tag hovering around the $60 mark will add downward pressure on prices at the gas pump.
