Hawaiian Electric (HE) is being sued by Maui County who is accusing negligence. HE's shareholders have also sued HE in federal court. HE has suspended dividends, and the stock is down more than 70% this month. HE’s official statement is that “we are still reviewing the complaint and have no further comment at this time.” HE’s 52-week high was $43.71 and its 52-week low was $9.06.
