Higher Interest Rates Impacting International Markets

The British Pound Futures (/6B) are back to pre-tax cut levels after the Bank of England announced a plan to buy long dated bonds this week. "We will be raising rates until something breaks like in 2008 with the real estate market and in 2000 with the tech bubble. The U.S. Dollar price is driving the current market. Higher interest rates are impacting international markets like the United Kingdom," says Paul Nolte. Are the actions by global central banks helping or hurting the currency and stock market today?
