Kevin also examines the implications of Walmart (WMT) moving its listing to the Nasdaq from the NYSE. “This is a key point in the calendar for all indexing businesses,” he notes, as they rebalance before the end of the year. While the Walmart move came after the cutoff for the Nasdaq-100 rebalance, he thinks it might move into that index next year.
