IPO 'Power Nap' During Government Shutdown

Jim Neesen is at the NYSE set to discuss the IPO market's standstill amid the ongoing government shutdown. He says that companies can go effective if they're already on file, but that a shutdown makes it harder for pricing. Jim adds the IPO market is in a "power nap" which means there's no shortage of demand for the "unicorns" looking to go public, saying the government shutdown could ultimately be a "nothing burger" in slowing IPO activity. Looking to 2026, he says there's a "very big pipeline" featuring a breadth of software, fintech, crypto companies and more.
