“Inflation really isn’t going to be the problem,” argues Jim Thorne, and the Fed needs to loosen rates. “I love the banks,” he says, calling them a core holding for the rest of the decade. He looks at regional banks but also “loves” JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Morgan Stanley (MS) and Goldman Sachs (GS). He’s targeting 8,000 on the SPX for the end of the year and thinks Nvidia (NVDA) will be one of the drivers.
