Newmont (NEM) moved sharply to the downside Friday, but the weakness follows a strong side-by-side rally with gold and silver. As Rick Ducat points out, the company has vastly outperformed the SPX as it tests a bullish pattern. Newmont also saw more bullish activity in its options.
