General Motors (GM) and United Auto Workers negations resumed after an all-night session. The intensive negotiations resumed at 11:00am ET. The previous session lasted until 5:00am ET. The GM CEO and UAW President took part in talks. Caroline Woods discusses this as the sides are reportedly very close on economic provisions. The talks centered on a tentative deal between the UAW and Ford (F). Caroline also goes over how SanoFi (SNY) plans to spin off consumer healthcare and pharma business. She then goes over AbbVie’s (ABBV) 3Q earnings. Its 3Q adjusted EPS came in at $2.95 versus an estimated $2.86 and its Humira sales are down 36% year-over-year.
