'Low Bar' Beat for DG, U.S. Consumer Strength Key to Business

James Demmert says Dollar General (DG) didn't wow in its 4Q earnings report calling it a "surprise" to see shares up. "There is obviously concern surrounding us about consumer spending," James adds. But, he says that during recessionary periods consumers often turn to discount-retailers for relief. However, at 13x earnings James is not sure DG isn't a "value trap."
