Bauer on Market's Cautious Optimism, VIX 'Way Too Low'

Scott Bauer (@prospertradingacademy) says complacency over the last few months have led to a cautious optimism, but with self-imposed tariff deadlines now in question he says more questions may surface. He says the Cboe Volatility Index (VIX) is "way too low" and believes investors could take advantage of it for a possible protection play. For the week ahead, he's watching the 10-year yield and Wednesday's 10-year note auction. Additionally, Scott's looking at company commentary surrounding tariff volatility and consumer demand in the upcoming earnings season.
