Stock Market Today: China Bans Officials From Using iPhone & CMCSA, DIS Agree To Move Up Hulu Deal

The Dow Jones, Nasdaq-100, Russell 2000, and S&P 500 all closed lower today. Only two of the eleven S&P 500 sectors ended higher. Apple (AAPL) shares closed down off of the news that the Chinese government banned its official from using iPhones. Comcast (CMCSA) and Disney (DIS) agreed to move up the deadline for the sale or acquisition of Comcast’s remaining ownership stake in Hulu to September 30th.
