Chevron (CVX) sales fell after news broke that it’s acquiring Hess (HES) in an all-stock deal worth $53B. The UAW expanded its strike today targeting a 6,800 worker Stellantis factory in Detroit. Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) closed higher on a JPMorgan analyst upgrading the stock due to its new CEO Tim Wentworth taking the helm.
