Markets got a bump near the end of the session thanks to a report of President Trump easing Biden-era chip curbs. Alphabet (GOOGL) closed down more than 7% after Apple (AAPL) hinted toward a new move into A.I., while Walt Disney (DIS) soared almost 11% on its earnings.
