Seven out of the eleven S&amp;P 500 sectors ended the day higher. Nvidia (NVDA) shares fell almost 5% as the U.S. unveiled new regulations on exporting A.I. chips to China. Bank of America (BAC) shares closed up more than 2% after posting better-than-expected earnings.
