Stock Market Today: PLTR Sells Off, ADI and ANET Opposite Earnings Moves, Gas Companies Rally

While small caps lagged the rest of the markets saw mostly green shoots to close the trading session. One of the biggest laggards, Palantir (PLTR), sold off near the end of the day after the Washington Post reported Pentagon budget cuts from the Trump Administration. Arista Networks (ANET) became an A.I. laggard despite it and Analog Devices (ADI) posting strong earnings. Gas companies like Devon Energy (DVN) and Occidental Petroleum (OXY) got a boost from their reports. Caroline Woods runs through the day's biggest stories.
