Stock Market Today: Probe Plummets SMCI, LUV Soars, China Gets 2nd Stimulus

A morning rally losing steam during the day didn't stop the SPX from reaching a new all-time high. Southwest Airlines (LUV) joined those gains after raising its guidance, as did U.S.-based China stocks following announcements of more stimulus in China. Supermicro (SMCI) became the SPX's biggest laggard off reports of a Justice Department investigation into the company. Diane King Hall looks into the day's top stories.
