Stock Market Today: UAW Strike On 4th Day, Crude Oil On The Move, MRNA Weakness

The Nasdaq-100, S&P 500, and Dow Jones all closed higher, while the Russell 2000 ended lower. Six of the eleven S&P 500 sectors ended higher. The UAW strike is in its fourth day, and as union leaders continued to negotiate with Ford (F) and General Motors (GM) over the weekend, they rejected a proposal from Stellantis (STLA) offering a 21% pay increase. Crude oil (/CL) traded at almost $953 a barrel during the session on worries over tightening crude supplies after the U.S. energy information administration released its monthly report. Moderna (MRNA) was one of the worst performers in the S&P 500 today. Tune in to find out more about what to watch tomorrow and the stock market today.
