Super Bowl & World Cup's Supersized Boom: Bay Area to Cash In $1.4B During Event

The Bay Area is gearing up for a massive year of sports and business, with Super Bowl 60 and the FIFA World Cup on the horizon. Zaileen Janmohamed, president and CEO of the Bay Area Host Committee, discusses the economic impact of these events, which she expects to be in excess of $1.4 billion and support 13,000 jobs. Janmohamed also sets her sights on the event leaving a lasting impact, with initiatives like the Bridge to Work program, which provides job training and certification for underrepresented communities and re-entry populations.
