Alexander Heil says the "back and forth" on tariffs provides little to no clarity on what even the next 3 months hold. The impact to U.S. consumers depends on the products and supply-chain lines that will be targeted by tariffs and reciprocal tariffs enacted by other countries. Alexander says (if implemented) the 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico, in addition to the 10% hike on China, could "push up inflation rates by 2/3 of a percent."
