Tesla (TSLA) reported over 435K vehicles delivered in 3Q. TSLA’s 2023 volume target is around 1.8M vehicles which remains unchanged. Nio (NIO), Xpeng (XPEV), and Li Auto (LI) also announced their September and 3Q deliveries. NIO delivered 15,641 vehicles in September, XPEV delivered 15,310 Smart EVs, and LI delivered 36,060 vehicles. Jeff Pierce discusses this, along with Rivian (RIVN) which was upgraded to outperform at Evercore ISI. The analyst noted that they would be buyers at current levels and expect “solid” production and deliveries to be reported for 3Q. Rivian delivered 15,564 vehicles in 3Q.
