Stocks are set to close lower for the week. The near-term direction still appears to be tied to bond yields, notes Nathan Peterson. He and Cooper Howard give an overview of the market. Nathan mentions that the 10-year yields are still in an uptrend. Cooper highlights that next week’s CPI should help to inform the path of Fed policy, and longer-term rates likely have limited upside from here. Nathan also looks at the bullish perspective for the market, that includes that the Fed is done hiking, and the soft landing is achieved. Then then preview the CPI which will be released next Wednesday. Tune in to find out more about the stock market today.
