Matthew Miller says MP Materials (MP) making deals with the Department of Defense and Apple (AAPL) point to positive catalysts. For the DoD deal, Matthew adds that it increased the company's rare earth pricing power setting a $110 per kilogram price floor. On the Apple announcement, he said the timing was a "surprise" after the DoD deal, but believes Apple's desire to increase supply chain offerings outside of Asia made the deal pretty much inevitable.
