UAW & Las Vegas Union Potential Strike, Walmart (WMT) To Cut Starting Pay

The UAW rejected the latest contract counteroffer from General Motors (GM). The UAW President calls the latest GM proposal “insulting” and says that “clock is ticking” for a potential strike. The UAW contract expires at 11:59pm ET on September 14th. GM hit 4-month lows this week. The UAW is seeking 46% increase over a 4-year contract. Renita Young and Rick Ducat discuss this, as well as how the Las Vegas Strip Union workers will hold a strike on September 26th. The Las Vegas Union represents 50K workers. Rick Ducat looks at the charts and technical trends of GM, Caesars Entertainment (CZR), and Walmart (WMT). WMT is to cut starting pay for new hires. Employees joining the digital and stock teams will make a dollar-an-hour less. Tune in to find out more about the stock market today.
