Welch: Not Expecting a Recession Despite Slowdown; Fed Won’t Cut Until June

Scott Welch discusses market rotation and the impact of Trump’s tariffs and China’s Deepseek. He thinks that big tech’s dip could partially be due to people “taking chips off the table” after massive gains. “There’s definitely signs of things slowing down” in the economy, he adds, but doesn’t expect a recession.
