"The consumer has been unbelievably strong," says Scott Bauer as the September PCE report breaks at 3.7% year-over-year. He discusses the possibility that the Fed will raise their inflation target away from 2% so they don't "break anything" in the economy. He adds that there is no sustainable trend in the current stock market and discusses what might be behind traders selling off. However, "I don't think there is that big overall push to the downside coming unless something catastrophic happens."
