Exxon Mobil (XOM) is reportedly in negotiations to buy Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD). The deal would be worth approximately $60B, according to the Wall Street Journal. The PXD takeover would be XOM’s largest purchase in over 20 years. Jenny Horne discusses this along with AMC (AMC) as the “Taylor Swift Eras Tour” concert film sold more than $100M in advanced tickets. The concert film will debut on October 13th.
