AT&amp;T (T) has an agreement with WillJam Ventures to create a standalone cybersecurity business. AT&amp;T realigns its security portfolio to become a more simple and focused company and managed security is a lot of consulting which isn’t AT&amp;T’s sweet spot, notes Roger Entner. He talks about how AT&amp;T continues to provide managed security to existing clients. He highlights that AT&amp;T will retain ownership stake and board seats in the new entity and will continue to offer managed security services. He then goes over headwinds for telecom stocks.
